TRSVC module pinout?
Hello,
Can anyone share some insight on what pins 1 - 10 is for on the TRSVC module? I'm looking to retrofitting surround view in my car and i have everything except i have no idea where to tap the wires into. maybe shawnsheridan has some insight? Thanks! |

I'm getting ready to do mine too, but for the rear cam...
 The installation manual for the rear camera shows where the 10-pins tap into. There's detailed info on how/where to run the wires. I attached the PDF document at the end of this post... Actually, only 7 physical wires are used in that 10-pin connector. Rheingold shows them as pins #1 - #7, but the instruction manual labels them as A2 - A8. In either case: A5 or A167*2B pin #1 (brown-BR) - ground --> to any good grounding post A3 or A167*2B pin #2 (red-RT) - FBAS+ --> PIN21 A42*1B at NBT head unit A2 or A167*2B pin #3 (white-WS) - FBAS- --> PIN24 A42*1B at NBT head unit A4 or A167*2B pin #4 (clear-Shield) - shield --> PIN23 A42*1B at NBT head unit A6 or A167*2B pin #5 (orange/green-OR/GN) - KCAN --> FEM A173*8B PIN52 A7 or A167*2B pin #6 (green-GN) - KCAN --> FEM A173*8B PIN51 A8 or A167*2B pin #7 (green/blue-GN/BL) - +12v pwr supply --> to Rear Fuse Blk Z2*6B PIN6 EDIT: (7/26) - some of the A* labels for the wires from BMW instructions were mixed up - fixed now Last edited by squidlyboy; 07-27-2015 at 12:05 AM.. |
