Who has added a sub to harman/kardon?

With our first install of a sub to a harman/kardon system in an F30, we ran into some surprises. Has anyone added a sub to this system yet? If so, what equipment did you use for the interface and how long has it been in there?

I'm very clear on the HiFi system, but there are some new facets to the HK system, and I want to get some info from the field!

I've been wanting to do the same thing. Looking to add a pair of Rockford Power Subs and Power Amp.
