MPG numbers

So is the hybrid system hooked up to the new 328i engine? If so, then I think 40 city and 40 highway would be my bottom number predictions.

I'de like to know that too. Is it because of stricter emissions in the US?

I'm tearing my clothes and pouring ashes over my head at the sight of a 3 Hybrid!

100000 I would choose a diesel over a hybrid every day

A.) Seriously, hybrids are ghey.

B.) High waistline much? They best not be making the 3 into a crossover.. and given the recent "fuck you" management gave us 6mt drivers.. their judgment is suspect in my book.

The lights may also be a "dumbed down" version on the test mule, so as to keep the LED's a surprise

From the dual side exhaust . . . I can say that the F30 3-series Hybrid will share the same engine with F10 5-series Hybrid.

It's a bummer the 3 series has finally lost its short front overhang... that gave it such a dynamic shape always.

this model does not have HID headlights. im guessing it will be like the F25 (X3) where only the model with HID's gets LED taillights as well

this kind has the LED light bars

this kind just has bars that dont light up, with regular bulbs behind it

Because diesel has a bad image in US. No one buys them here. BMW is clearly trying to change that with the clean diesel super bowl ads.

Right, on a forum that claims the 328i and 330i e9X are too slow, out-dated, and numb compared to the 335i? wrong market, pal. It wouldn't last longer than the 318 did in the 90's.. plus it's a diesel. Diesel isn't exactly marketable in the U.S. market, you can see that with the 335d. not trying to troll... just don't expect it to come to us anytime soon or EVER, unless BMW drops itself as a luxury line here in the U.S.
