Trunk lid
A quick and simple question
The F82's trunk lid is compatible with a F32. Ie, it is plug and play?

I'd assume so, however the F32 and F80 have different part numbers. I'd consult with your dealer, parts management.
F32: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...19&hg=41&fg=60 Part Number: 41007381193 F82: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...19&hg=41&fg=60 Part Number: 41628055039

The F82 has a small integrated spoiler. The issue would be to put the F82's lid on the F32

do the hood / bonnet too!!!
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1013603 and that's a funky looking M4 pic you have posted above. side mirrors are the same as the 435 (they aren't), no quad exhaust and rear bumper isn't an M and the rear fenders should be wider. Last edited by G30 B58; 08-05-2014 at 07:45 PM.. |

That's it, just change the trunk lid, not imitate an M4... The issue is, it's p'n'p the F82's trunk lid on a F32??

You just need to find a reasonable M owner and do a "stare and compare" Just from a glance its' gotta be a 95% chance it fits. Buy the trunk lid, just don't get it painted until you know for sure. |

I answer myself. It's p'n'p but not fit to 100%
Say 98% A millimeter on each side of difference. Another issue, though it's p'n'p tension springs are different, so that as the M4 trunk lid is lighter, it rises more quickly and makes it harder to close. I have not changed these springs, but I will, I don't think that would help improve the fit. Hopefully yes! http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1075716&page=3 |
