But he gets new nav and possibly more options included as standards. as well as fixes for many of the problems reported with early cars. Of course downside if slightly higher price but this may be mitigated depending on options.

Cheaper but not worth it if you factor in the new navigation system and a whole lot of updates that i am very much Jelley of right now.

Fixes for reported problems (assuming they aren't already fixed, OK, but wouldn't they be covered under the warranty anyway? More options, perhaps, but they'll cost; nothing is for free. And if the past is any indicator, the F30 will lose some small things that were there in the current version. For example, I bought my coupe in 2007. It came with a flashlight. Some time after that, BMW removed the flashlight. Sure it's a small thing, but less is less...and yes, of course there are always trade offs. Overall, the things about the car for which one buys a car will be the same. So if one has the money and the desire to buy now, buy now Moreover, because the buying power of a dollar tomorrow is less than that of a dollar today, there isn't likely to be any financial benefit to waiting. Having said that last bit, I realize very few individuals have a high enough guaranteed ROI, or high enough quantity of funds, for that to really matter to them, and the individuals with a high enough quantity of funds, won't care on a $50K purchase.

Always waiting will lead to constant deliberating. Get what you want when you want it and live life.
There's always going to be something better around the corner.

Thanks for the replies!
I would love to purchase one right now, but I'm afraid I would regret it a couple of months after I get it. If I do plan on getting it within these couple of months, it is better to order one or purchasing one from the dealers inventory? There's quite a lot of 335i's in stock at dealers with the options/color I want around my area, the only downfall is the license plate predrilled on the bumper |

If the car you want is on the lot, buy it. The less time it's been on the lot, the better your negotiation position when it comes to the price because the dealer has less invested in it by way of the carrying cost of it in his inventory. If you don't intend to keep it for a long time and a car similar enough to exactly what you want is on the lot, get it. If you are very choosey and have to have exactly what you want, order it.

If I were you, I'd wait for the F30 LCI...that should be in 2016 or so. iDrive will have scents. And I hear that the N55 will come with 350hp and 19 months after, you will be able to buy a PPK that increases hp to 365.

wait for the LAUNCH CONTROL for 3 Series in MY14 for US. But on the other hand, why they introduce F31 in May??? when the new MY14 comes in summer?
Oh bummer, i ordered F31 in April and manufacture in June, but the 328i F31 will just arrive Australia showroom this month... if you are not in a hurry for version 1.0, it's better to wait and probably get better deal than brand new release, which you won't receive one of the "you won't get much discount and i can charge you more" price tag extra psychological tax. |

I was in the same boat as you and I was about to pull the trigger on one, but after seeing how sexy the '14 looks I decided to wait. Although the deals are really good right now, I knew I'd regret getting the current body once I'd see the new one. If money is a huge factor, I'd definitely buy now. The 2014 pricing will not be as good obviously but I think it's worth it to wait.
