Active hybrid 3 "S" Gears?

I bought an AH3 some days ago and was trying some things out.
First thing I notice after checking some 335i acceleration videos; I can not find the "S" gears. Even in D/S the gears still show M1/M2/M3.
How is this possible?

The car is from 08/2013, and according the manual it should also have LC.

Put it in drive then move the gear selector over to D/S and then dont move it at all (up or down) the dash should S1/2/3/4.....

I'm pretty sure it will just show "D/S"? Will try in a minute!

Let me know how it goes.. Im not a fan of the S gears, it holds my RPMs too high for too long once im off the gas, i stick to normal auto or M gears

Just tried it. It only shows "DS" on the dash. Seems strange.
I thought it was something special, but actually it's just the D/S showing which gear you're in?

So in normal drive its just D then moving the selector it says DS and moving the selector up or down shows S? Maybe since it is the active hybrid it may be different?

I believe it will be different due to it being a AH3

Moving the selector up and down in M/S shows M1, M2, ....

However I found some youtube video's of other AH3's and they seem to have S Gears. So i'm really confused right now.

in this video he puts it into M/S and shifts towards the +.. for a quick second you see S1 until he shifts to the - ... try putting into m/s and shift towards +

My AH3's display indicates S1, S2, S3 when moving the selector to the left and leaving it alone. If I then change gears my display indicates M1, M2, M3 ...

With 2015 software (for all AH3) DS is replaced with S1 S2 etc.

Can I ask the dealer to update it?

The only thing I noticed was the sports displays can be in kW or HP, not only in kW like before.
