Have you done an installation to check this? It may be the same for an axle back, but I think not so for a cat back.

According to RealOEM, the front pipe is the only difference. But that is a pretty major stretch of pipe to be different. And all of the aftermarket exhaust guys (Borla, Akraprovic, aFe, etc.) have exhausts for the 335 but not for the 335x.

So I think they are different, cat back.

As an xDrive owner looking for an exhaust, i asked this exact question a couple time on here but got no response.

If you have an actual cat back installation of a 335 exhaust on a 335x that you can point to, I would be thrilled.

Thanks,
Matt

I have an xDrive. The Akrapovic exhaust fits just fine. I have it installed. It is the same exhaust for the non xDrive. There is no difference in the exhaust routing or sizing between the two.

You can also see from Real OEM that there is no separate listing for the front exhaust pipe for an Xdrive.

Interesting - and they didnt have to finagle anything to install?

And, actually, if you check realOEM you will see that the part number for the front pipe is actually different. Doesn't mean the part is different, but they do have different part numbers.

Thanks,
Matt
