There are other coilovers available. I just got the Bilsteins today.

I just got the B14 (similar to KW v1, height only). But the B16 (similar to KW v3) are available too. I never adjusted my suspension on my previous rides so I think height should be enough. I might end up hating myself for being cheap though. I got them from eBay.de, I've had KW on all my other cars but your thread made me switch.

I'll try to get them mounted as soon as possible!

Thanks for the info. Can you post a picture of the actually product before it goes into the car? I would help out immensely.

Tremolo, I would inquire with JRZ about the availability of their RS1's for the F30 chassis, if they are not already in development, they should be soon.

You could even step it up to the RS or RS Pro, but those both are a good chunk more money.

UPDATE:

In a nutshell... I have officially received word from KW conceding they are at fault. They are re-test-fitting the F30. They will not have a solution until at least a few weeks later. They finally apologized for my inconvenience and how I was treated. I have been offered a refund. They "assured" me that they never treat their customers like they treated me.

So for those considering the KW's, just wait a bit until the fix propagates through all the F30 kits.

NOTE: Obviously, I'm not going to go into too much details until my specific case is completely resolved. However, you can PM me if you like.

I just spoke with a KW dealer this morning, was going to post the same thing. All orders have been halted the past week or so. Won't go into detail, but it seems to be a pretty serious recall.

Good to hear Bilstein finally released something for our car, must still be early on, hard to find info on these at this point. PSS9's would be great.

Can someone please give me some more info on the problems KW has with there current kits? I feel like considering I am driving around with the kit on my car, it probably would be helpful if I knew all the facts?

If people do not want to post it up on here for their own reasons, can people please PM me with any info so I am informed? Any info would be appreciated....

There's only one thing objectively wrong with the F30 kit. The springs that come with the kit are wrong. Contact your shop if you want more specific info. I've been told there probably won't be a fix for the next few weeks at least.

I'm glad they admitted fault.
And I'm glad they're taking the time to sort the issues out.

Hopefully they'll set you up with a nice kit.
