Dinan kit for 435?

Does anyone know if Dinan offer or are planning to offer a spring and bumpstop kit for the RWD 435i? I'm eager to try their shockware which is available but would like to add springs at the same time.

I've emailed them but not had any response to date.

I'm actually going to be going into their shop in Mountain View, CA on Monday to have Shockware installed on my 435i. I'll ask them this question when I go in to drop off my car.

I see no reason why they would offer it on the 335 and not the 435.

Thanks, that would be great. Likewise I see no reason why they wouldnt release one for the 4 given that I cant see there being a massive difference between the four and the three.

Fwiw I have had my sales rep on "alert" for months pinging the Dinan guys about timing and availability of springs for the 4 (in my case xdrive, but EITHER way he is all over them).

As of last week, what I got was "still no update and no formal timetable". Beyond that my sales rep offered that he thinks with the 3 series issues recently, Dinan is taking it slow to not add fuel to the fire. That last piece is one guy's opinion, not the word from Dinan mind you.

I check in once every two weeks and would love nothing more than to break some news to everyone on here that they are coming soon. I for one can't wait to add dinan springs and shockwave to my 435x. The last planned mod before I am done. Well, done for now at least...

Well, I got my Shockwave software installed the other day and I am in love with it. The car really tightens up significantly in Sport Mode now.

I am hearing the same thing as BigVegas17. Dinan has plans for the 4 series but just not ready yet.

I literally just got Shockware installed and got an alignment because I needed one. Don't really feel like spending another set of $$ for another alignment but I would be interested in these springs.

I just hope it is not much of a drop. I really only care about an increase in handling and stability. The Shockware software has already transformed the car.

I checked the Dinan website (albeit quickly from my phone), but couldn't find anything if this is compatible with xDrive cars. Does anyone know if you can install this on a 435i xDrive?

I'm also running a 225/40/R19 squared tire setup. Would this kit cause rubbing with 8.5" tires all around?

Dinan website claims a drop of both 1" in front and 1" for rear.

We found the 435i to be quite soft in the suspension department so the spring stiffness was increased by 50% and the ride height reduced by an inch in both the front and rear.

How does the Dinan Suspension hold up to the M Performance suspension. I'm leasing, so doing the M Performance would be easier on me financially. But I am a sucker for tight handling and lowered looks.

Also, would you be able to couple the Dinan Suspension with the Adaptive M Suspension AND Shockware?

Thanks!

This spring set is not compatible with xDrive vehicles. I have updated the website accordingly for future reference. Once we get a 435i xDrive to test fit things on we will see if these springs would also work. However, a significant percentage of the time springs from the RWD and AWD are not interchangeable.

That setup would be the ideal to get the maximum Dinan approved handling and is HIGHLY recommended.

So I don't have to search 50 threads, what 3 series issues are you talking about?

Unfortunately we do not have an authorized Dinan Dealer in the UK.

We can ship directly if you like and you can have your local trusted BMW service shop do any installs or you could do it yourself if you feel so inclined. We provide very thorough instructions so assuming you have the tools or the shop of your choosing is capable the install process will be pretty straight forward. If you have any additional or specific questions feel free to call us (1-800-341-5480) and speak to Scott Leandres at extension 2105.

Its the shockware too that I'd be interested in and I'm guessing that cant be installed at home or at a shop?

I wondered also if there was any difference in the standard UK M-sport adaptive shock set up to that of the North American setup? Typically the US gets a softer setting like for like with most other cars.
