I think my 335i xDrive built in South Africa is on Dionysos Leader. Serenity Ace - sailing from Durban - arrived in Bremerhaven on January 16 and left on January 18.
Dionysos Leader is scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on February 15, at least according to Port Hueneme vessel arrival schedule. My CA indicated February 13 arrival date. Fairly close. |

My 328i completed 01/16. Placed the order 02 Dec 2012. No updates from my CA.....EVER!!. Poor customer service (but I was already warned about this dealership). Anyway, I think it's also on the Dionysos Leader. I'm so obsessed, I may drag the family to Port Hueneme to take a look at the ship.

Update on my vehicle (which I sense may very well be on Dionysos Leader):
My CA just shared an update. The vehicle is now expected in Port Hueneme on 2/23 (or 10 days later than expected). In the latest update, the prior vessel - Serenity Ace - is still displayed as the shipping vessel although Serenity Ace continues to make progress towards Tema, Ghana. The exact vessel where my car may be still remains a mystery. |

No updates from my CA. But it doesn't look like the ship will be late. It's near the Dominican Republic and appears that it will pass through the Panama Canal on schedule (2Feb). I don't see any other ships from Bremerhaven arriving in San Diego or Port Hueneme. So i'm only hope my car is on that ship, otherwise I have a long wait.

Privately, I just don't understand why BMW logistics systems do not update the vessel name when the car - by every aspect of Newtonian physics - cannot possibly be on Serenity Ace. The system updated the expected Port Hueneme arrival date from 2/12 to 2/22. So some factor was detected and influenced the date change.

Good news: Dionysos Leader will be exiting Panama Canal very shortly.
Port Hueneme vessel schedule indicates that Dionysos Leader will arrive in Port Hueneme on Feb 15. My last dealer update still indicates arrival at VPC Oxnard on Feb 22 while on-board Serenity Ace (which is now off the coast of Ghana, Africa). No idea how to account the week long discrepancy between the date in the last CA update (Feb 22) and Port Hueneme vessel arrival date (Feb 15). |

Looks like it's ahead of schedule. Currently docked at Long Beach and probably leaving for Port Huneme tomorrow morning on the 2/14. The wait is almost over! Hoping the weekend after next will be the time it arrives at the Dealer.

The wait is almost over. Just docked in Port Hueneme. My car now has only 24 miles to go by truck. Expect to have it by Tuesday next week. One day after I leave on an unplanned business trip.
