Frogman, i was wondering if you have the tools to code an E92 M3 also.
I have a F30 and my roommate has a E92 M3 and needs some coding done too.

Thanks!

Sorry, no. I only have coding stuff for my car (F30) and the cable and software are completely different on E9x cars.

Considering an average of 15-20 min of coding per car... we are looking probably at around (at least 2hours not bad.
We should all pitch in to buy him a good lunch

I will drop by just to see the gathering... It will be good to see you again, and admire your red car...

I was dreaming last night that my car turned red, and i would love it.
Cool, I was going to PM you to see if you wanted to try to get your sports-display working.

I'm planning on creating a shortened cheat sheet that lists what is currently know to work on an F30 (not everything in the F10 cheat sheet works on the F30). You can use it to pick what you want coded.

I'll try to get it done by next Monday or Tuesday and I'll post it here.

I'm currently on a road trip (AZ, NM) and don't have time this week to do this.
BTW: This car loves the open road, so much more fun than LA traffic!

I got a question about the back windows don't auto one click up , that can be coded or no? And yes I'd love to see a sheet if you get time. I'm interested to see what other stuff I may not be thinking of as well!

Enclosed is a summary check list of the current things that can be coded on an F30 as documented by others in the coding forums. I have not tested/coded all of them, but they *should* all work.

Note that some of the items will only work if the car has the corresponding option (like front/side cameras, etc).

If you are planning on attending this Saturday, please print this check list out and check the items you want to code.

If you are planning on attending, please send me a private message to indicate that you are coming and about what time you plan on being there.

It takes about 15-30 minutes per coding session (depending on how fast you are), so bring something to entertain yourself in case a lot of people show up at the same time.

Also, you should bring a USB memory stick (any size) to make backups of your coding data for safe keeping.

I can't find anything obvious that would enable this feature.

The current list of items was developed over time by some very dedicated people doing research, translations, and trial and error things to their cars.

Finding something specific like this is a needle in the haystack kind of thing. You'll see when you do it.

The weather on Saturday may be iffy (30% chance of rain as of now) for an outside coding session.

So, I think we need a plan B for Saturday. Arktctr has suggested the garage at South Coast Plaza under the Crate and Barrel. Any other suggestions?

Again, if you are planning on attending, please send me a PM (Private Message) along with an e-mail address so we can make last-minute notifications if needed. I'll reply with my e-mail address so we can stay up to date.

So, the weather looks ok for now, so lets plan on meeting at the original location here:

https://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.721831,+-117.793966

I'll try to be there around 9:45 to 10:00 depending on traffic.

If you have any questions you can e-mail me at frogmanf30@gmail.com

See you there!!

Thanks again Frogman! The weather held out long enough for all of us to get our coding changes in! Love the new signal count and folding mirrors!

I definitely need another day. Everyone's worked out perfect except for myself. My car was too new and had newest software so it wasn't compatible with frogmans on his laptop. So I gotta find someone with the newest software to get to him so I can complete my coding!
