I'm looking to line up the M Performance BBK. There's no decent tunes yet AFAIK. Exhaust would be nice but won't do a great deal for more killer wasps or torques.

I'm probably going to go for the BBKs, CF rear spoiler, CF Caps. Waiting to wear down those brakes a bit before i change them.

I want to do the M performance suspension next. Just waiting for someone who can actually sell it to me. After that probably the M performance exhaust. Will probably look at a new set of wheels with some non run flats after I wear out the current rear tyres. Not sure what wheel yet, but i think Michelin PSS for the rubber. Had these on my e92 and miss them incredibly.

Call me boring but I really wanna replace the chrome grills with the MSport as well as the pedals.

Finding it hard to find places that ship to Australia.

Next will be definitely an exhaust and maybe a tune

depends on what you are looking for. If OEM BMW parts then try
http://www.bmminiparts.com/
http://www.schmiedmann.com/
http://www.ecstuning.com/

I dont bother with bme dealers in the usa now as australian dealers are anti competitive and have somehow restricted them from shipping to australia. boo. same with tirerack...

if you need specific non bmw parts like suspension etc let me know.

Not true. It is possible to order from the USA and ship it to Australia still.

I've dealt with Silverspring/getbmwparts and Tischer, both of them I found to be good to deal with.

I have them ship it to my US address and then post it to my home in Australia.

And hence my comment below.
Having to ship to a freight forwarder usually results in an increase in freight costs. I personally would rather deal with a retailer that ships directly to australia.

I personally have changed to dealing with euro/uk retailers due to the better exchange rates and lower shipping costs.

Each to their own, just giving options to those who want to know.

Also used ECS and bmmini parts for OEM stuff with good results. Sideskirts, brake rotors, water pumps, you name it. Shipping generally costs more than the goods themselves, but still works out considerably cheaper than buying locally. Ridiculous really.

When did tirerack stop shipping to Australia? Is that for everything or just specific brands? That sucks big time if that is true.

Didn't read the whole thing, but at the end of that thread there's at least one guy who placed an order with tirerack and appears to have received it - a set of Michelin PSS around October 9. Hopefully it's just bullshit

Unfortunately not in my experience...

I recently tried to make a purchase and even tho was told via email that it was ok to order, when i TT'ed the money over it was rejected as they said they couldnt ship certain brands over to Australia.

Hello All.

I am Newbie to this forum and wanted to say first hi to the Aussies & thanks for the info in this thread so far. Second, I am interested your thoughts on tyres? After just one week of driving my new 328 (sportline, mineral white) the only thing that jumps at me for first mods is in order of priority is - tyres, stage 1 tune, blackout all chrome bits exterior, brakes.

Welcome Mark

Congrats on the new car too Sounds like there's a few of us 328s

I think I'm going to run the first pair of tyres in. From all accounts read so far, everyone seems to appreciate the newer generation of runflats compared to the first, so I might give them a good go before replacing them with non-runflats.

Blackout is definitely in order but the tunes, I'm not sure yet. Have been following the BMS N20 tune threads with some very positive outcomes either by itself or a few bolt ons. But I'll stay on the fence for now and continue reading. There's a few tunes out there now, so do let us know which tune you decide to go with

Correct, but the suspension on the F30 has been deliberately 'softened' as well to give a much smoother ride compared to the E90.

Compared to my just sold E90, the F30 feels like it's almost riding on air, even with M-Sport suspension & 19" wheels. Mind you, I loved the tight & firm ride of the E90, so the F30 is a big change.
