Ok, a few thoughts.
The concept 4, was way better than this!
The 4 is to close to the 3, i thought the 4 should be more "special" and uniqe looking.
Not a 3 series with less doors.
And two more letdowns, the air curtain, looks way better and more natural on the F15 than on the 4 sadly.
And the rear lights, is boring, the 3 have better and more agressive rear end/lights imo.
I'm a bit underwhelmed with this, i expected something more, at least make it deserved the more upscaled number, as it is now, it's just to close to the 3, sad!

I dig the M Sport a lot; right now I just think i’d paint that boomerang body color if I bought one. Maybe it will grow on me.

Looks very nice. I don't want to have to replace my E92, but if I do, the 4er would probably be the thing that replaced it.

The B series engines will likely debut in a year or two replacing the current N from what I've read.

As for the question several people asked earlier about the M performance model. All of these so far have been released after the full fat ///M of the range (i.e. 5 & 6 series and X5 & 6 all got ///M before ///M Perf). Scott has already stated in another thread that a diesel ///M Perf is being considered for 3, 4, X3 & X4, I wonder if this will too have to wait until the B series engines. Lets hope it's a tri turbo, but we'll have to see.

That said it may not matter, Autocar stated in their review of the B6 that Alpina are working on a D3 Bi Turbo which given their efforts with the X3 is likely to be a 350bhp monster.

All very exciting, must get saving.

4 Series - Concept

I wonder if the latest concept shots will reflect the final M4 design?

Let's see a comparison with the concept 4 and this.
The latter will for sure look pretty bland next to it!

Thanks Jason.

Looks sweet from the outside. Wonder how the Red dash will look on Sunny day.

Earlier, people used to say too much Red in the back seat. Not its right in front of our eyes all the time while driving.

I am all for Coral Red, considering for my F30 in MG, which is different inside.

Time will tell how it looks on the F32 M sport

Also, here is a comparo that I spoke of regarding F30 vs F32. I think the F30 M-Sport bumper looks more aggressive?

well if you put it that way... the sedan looks so much better and that says a lot because i don't find the new sedans good looking.

Hmmmmm. I am liking my 2011 e92 M-Sport but this looks very nice. Once I see one at the dealership, I may be swayed more.

I'm trying to figure out which models get the cheap looking Flat Black side mirrors. Judging from these pictures, just the Sport gets them while the Luxury and M Sport have normal body colored mirrors.

Does anyone know how this works? Are the side mirrors colors configurable with the Sport or with all models? - Thanks in advance!

To me this design had so much potential. In a lot of ways it takes (maybe even steals) Audi's A5/S5 design, and actually improves on it.

But that bashed in "boxer's nose" instantly cuts against the rest of the beautiful design. The car looks like its ABOUT to look good.... but then you get to the nose.

I hope my opinion changes over time. Its been known to happen with me. But for now, this is a bit of a let down.

F30 guys think their sedans are better looking than the Coupe. Say it with me...Their SEDANS are better looking than the Coupe.

And it is now official. After 7,168 repeated references, that Pepboys side vent joke NEVER gets old.

I'll be less kind, with that big stretched rear window, it makes me think of a Accord Coupe. It has more the proportions of a deluxe coupe than a sport coupe like the previous generations 3-coupes
