You are right, it probably sounds better live. I used headphones, which can impact on sound quality. The weight reduction is not bad if it's 5-10 pounds

Damn. I thought this car might have been different and I wouldn't want modify it. I was wrong after hearing the sound clip and seeing how it looked.
