F30 2017 340i voice command navigation and CarPlay nav on HUD

Hi I’m just wondering if it’s normal to have to say the address to a place instead of something like “navigate to Starbucks”?

It works with this kind of command in our G30 but not in my 2017 F30?

Also is it possible to get the HUD to work with CarPlay nav?

Not sure on the HUD, but the voice control is a subscriber option - you have to pay for it every 12 months after it expires.

I cannot use intuitive commands on my 2016. “Enter address” is the correct phrase for an address. “Online search” is the command to search the web if your subscription is current.

I have HUD and CarPlay. I do not use the BMW navigation, I always use Waze with Carplay.
Here are the voice command I use for directions:
"Hey Siri", "Navigate to XYZ using Waze"

CarPlay does not work over the HUD

2017 f30 330XI, I can only enter exit by using voice commands, but when I ask for "Find me nearest Starbucks" it doesnt recognize my commands, but they used to work before my new car warranty expired last month, so how to activate them again?

It’s a subscription. Your 4 years are up. It should have warned you when your subscription was about to expire. Contact Bmw or use the app.

CarPlay in the HUD is one the features I wished our cars had most. I'm not sure how it would work since it's a 3rd party system outside of the iDrive interface, but I think it would be really cool to have CarPlay navigation directions in the HUD for example.
