And me again ........... Andy if you haven't yet talked trade in value how do you know that Bavarian wont insult you on that and leave perhaps JKC or Country as a better overall proposition.

Davy think this thread IS the NI section lol

Don't know why Andrew said broadspeed have delivery in June??? It's from main dealer so same as JKC, I certainly didn't say that to him!

Bavarian gave me a rough trade in value a few weeks ago, and prentice did the same and it was much higher! Plus he said he would honour it now so can't beat that, but might not trade in, would like to think there is a good market for the E92.

Overall Bavarian discount was 15%....and as you know there is more out there!

Glad you ate getting somewhere with JKC.....ps he has a 435d m sport on order for himself in Jan, make sure you get a blast in that!!

Think we have worn it out! Mine is down also! Try pcppal.co.uk in the meantime, I am sure they will have it up again soon!

Yeah you two have managed to crash the BMW site :P

No I think its is all to do with the change in interest rate, BMW are also bringing out a new iPad inspired ordering system, where you build your car at home on your iPhone and come into the showroom to order / discuss how much they will rip you off.

Guys I have been fretting over the loss of the finance stuff on the Bmw site too. I just hope they are not adjusting the contributions down or APRs up because sales have been met. JKC. Offered me a fair bit more than country garage for my trade in. Need to get a price from prentice. I was kind of hoping to deal with JKC or Country Garage as they are closer to me but like the rest I will go where the deals are. I spoke with Andrew in JKC but then Ryan rang me back and seemed to have taken over dealing with me.

If I was a BMW dealer / salesman in Northern Ireland I would certainly be on this forum.

There are potentially 4 new car orders in this one "official NI section" they could be snapping up.

If it helps you guys get a deal I would direct them to the post.

Prof - the interest rates are up to 4.9% in the uk I think but they are staying 3.9% in NI until March although check it out to be sure.

F30 I wouldn't direct them to this post, there is too much discussion here on other dealers so they can quickly gain more info on competitors.

I spoke to Andrew and told him there were 3 or 4 people waiting to do deals and if he wanted them he could win them, his attitude was that they don't see any point in selling 4 cars at a loss. Clearly it isn't a loss but thats car dealers speak for we don't need to go any lower at the moment, come end of next quarter the tables may be turned.

I'm pretty much thinking of putting it all on hold for now, I'm in no rush to change, the values of good used cars are probably rising rather than falling and I can't see the discounts dropping much. In NI there is always a rush at this time of year for Jan/Feb delivery, come along when things are a bit quieter and they may need to meet your needs then to get a registration.

Prof Andrew is the Sales Manager in JKC, Ryan is the salesman, just there a few months. Both nice enough guys but Ryan plays the I'm your friend fighting to get you a good deal and Andrew plays the hard faced business manager who needs to make a decent profit so they can provide us with the excellent service down the years - I told him there is a happy medium somewhere between profit and covering costs to provide a service.

Davyk31 - Yes you're probably right, with regard to the new car situation. I'm in the same boat as you, no rush to buy but the 3.9% apr is tempting. If I didn't feel like I was being ripped off, the car would be ordered. Holding off is probably the best idea.

I have been dealing with Ryan and Nial from JKC. Family relatives have been buying from Nial for 20years and he said I could have their discount, but to date I haven't witnessed it yet.

I agree with Davy there is no point directing any of the sales people to a discussion between people hoping to buy. Who knows what tactics they could then employ!! I too am in no rush to change, and am quite happy to keep building my 335d.
Prentice have a used 330dx touring it doesn't have the spec that I want but will have a drive just to see how it compares with my 330d

Yes your both right, my suggestion was scandalous - I blame lack of sleep.

Davy - Your description of the Andrew and Ryan combination couldn't be more accurate. I almost laughed on the phone thinking about it.

I was on the phone to Ryan but Andrew was there in the background keeping him on the right path.

I have to provide JKC with a quote from solihull showing the 12% discount they promised. I cannot see JKC beating it though.

Davy - My money is on you to bring the system down and that 335d sounds good but I'm sure you'll beat it.

Andy - Try Sytner Solihull.

V330 - they where £500 out, but on reflection I will maybe see what they can offer as trade in.....problem is he said it would be March delivery!!!!!!!

I see the configurator is back online and the 335 d touring is back to 4.9% Apr. I have a print out of the numbers at 3.9% but I doubt any dealer will honour it.

I might speak to Andrew when I am in JKC next Friday. I have arranged to borrow the 330d touring x drive for the day for a test drive.
