found a 335d full review in german

In desperation to find a review I found a German Presentation "vorstellung 335d "google it and all will be revealed.

You can get a translation in English via google.

It's a very good review I think!!!!!

example" It be a smooth running expressive engine with heart and soul and no less for it not an audi a5 but it goes like a doodlebug when twisted by the balls".

On seconds thoughts , I can read a little bit of German and I'm going to try that.

Goes like a doodlebug? Clearly not for a UK audience!

Sorry chaps the bit about the doodlebug was me trying to be (not very) funny!!!

I've now read it over in English and German and it seems he is saying:-

335 is superior in almost all ways to his A5 although the A5 is a very good car he believes.

Highly complimentary about engine, space , comfort , fuel consumption

Only quibbles are:-

suspension rides too high and car can wallow on certain roads

Steering lacks a bit of feel

Now we've heard this before from the forum and that's why some people are looking to spec adaptive m sport suspension and VSS.

The only other concerning quibble I picked up on was he thought the sports seats were too narrow so this is a new one for me as I thought the seats in the m sport had received a good press from pros and forum enthusiasts?

Remember he was comparing the 3 series to his audi? The audi had to win some points!

Eccles Ken, you must have made sense of the German as the Google translator is atrocious. We should tell our kids if they dont work hard in school they will end up as a Google translator!! The gist appears to be BMW win and Audi didn't.

Prof

yes it is bad isn't it. In fact some of the tech speak words didn't appear in my dictionary at all. You probably know the germans change word meanings by adding words together and all of that makes it hard for someone who did German at school some 50 years ago.

did you get the impression that he was impressed with car in spite of the atrocious translation?
