August production
My 335 is scheduled for the August production. Ive heard things about the Germans taking vacation in August which could cause production delays.
Any truth to this?

They have in years past, but this year may be different. I just read an article on Bloomberg that said that BMW may skip the summer breaks to meet demand this year.

I heard the same thing also and that they plan to just keep cranking cars out.

I was promised July ptoduction last year when I placed a deposit in mid May. Production was then switched to Aug. I cancelled and the dealer still ordered the car. Turned out to be an Aug 29 production date and a late Sept. delivery. (Saw the car and took a pic of the vin). by this board it seems BMW filled the USA Xdrive orders while the SA plant was down. I would be more worried about this that German holidays.

My SA says "All 3 Series coming to Canada are built in Germany."

Why Yes of course, you wouldn't want to make a South African live in the cold of Canada...

Doesn't matter if its RWD or AWD. Yes they don't build as many RWD's but it all comes down to production slots. Mine is a RWD and I got mine in 6 from the time I ordered it
