Thank you for mentioning that. I was just going to add that the most significant difference between the two for those of us in the states is that you can't even get the Audi anymore at all.
This could translate into more sales for the BMW - I think Audi's Allroad won't make a good substitute for much of its loyal Avant following in the US. Quote:

Having owned both BMW and Audi wagons, I pick the BMW hands down just on the powertrain and overall drive. The A4 looks like a generic VW product, unless you get the S-Line. The new F30/F31 interior rivals Audi in terms of quality. From the E90 to the F30, BMW improved quality whereas from the Audi B7 to B8 Audi removed real aluminium for silver plastic. BMW hands down for me. At the end of the day, you buy waht you prefer.

I had an F30 328i baseline loaner the other day and I was blown away by its performance (excuse the pun). ps I 'built' myself an F30 just like your order the other day, good taste!

Well, looking at these 2 cars I must say that for the past 4-5 years Audi-s look almost the same. Minor changes (lights, some interior updates, trims, wheels etc). But Audi is one good piece of german engineering, that's for sure.
Personal point of view: The design of Audi cars are...well...booooooring, unatractive. Yeah sure, sometimes simplicity is good but comparing the A4 with the F31...I'd take the beamer. |

I have to be honest and say that the only reason I'm here is because AoA decided not to bring the 2013 avant. Otherwise, that would be replacing my 2009 A4 sedan. That being said, the F31 M Sport will be a fantastic alternative and I applaud BMWUSA for not giving up on sport wagon enthusiasts.

The Audi A4 w sportsline and titanium package is pretty sharp, plus w/ the sportsline you'll actually get a lower ride height something BMW needs to do, screw the ground clearance theory if I order a sport package I want a lower car... C'mon man. A lowered f31 would look better IMO, i also prefer n20 engine over audi's 2.0 any day. If they come out w/ f31 335 I'm in.... Except Bmw needs to fix the HPFP issue before I buy another one

The Audi looks beyond boring to me. The only aspect which I find interesting are the headlights, other than that I have no interest in that car at all. It does indeed make the 3er look very flashy in comparison.

I thought Saddle wasn't available in the the F series? I know a euro member had posted in the original F31 Msport thread that he ordered his and Saddle was not an option

It was probably a specific line that couldn't be spec'd with Saddle.
