Carmen is loading at Bremerhaven?

Carmen is already at Bremerehaven and loading, 10 days before a scheduled departure, I don't know what it means?

Hopefully our cars will load up together.

Got impatient and googled, and found the same link

Let's see if we get a better glimpse.

EDIT: Some info on Carmen, while I was trying to figure out if the ship was green one of the orange one
http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=266339000

I used Vessel Tracker layer on Google Earth 3 years back. Looks like there are lot more tools this time around, especially some from the Toronto thread

Now if only we could zoom in from the perfect view and look at cars being driven into the ship, that would be so sweet!

This is like our one on one conversation in a thread..haha

Did you get the App that Cloner mentioned for capturing a sequence? I am thinking if that will work on this webcam or not. I can upscale the images with some algorithms and maybe try to make out the loading of the cars later.

Wow it has a capacity of carrying 7879 cars! We should all make it to this one...

probably carrying some VWs and Mercedes Benz too?

And maybe some others. If you look on MarineTraffic.com , the port map view is insane. It seems like the biggest party of cars in the world, I wonder how many thousand parking spaces they have over there.

Some teasers

No, not yet, not sure what one can do with it here. In Panama canal ships are moving, that what makes a capture exciting.

I know it's crazy, I hope our cars don't get lost there!

They carry cars, buses, commercial and industrial equipment, etc.

Thanks Man!

I think he was referring to www.marinetraffic.com, you can get a satellite view on it.

Carmen has been moving around the port, it's at the 3rd different dock since the arrival.

There you go! It used to be a google earth layer some years back and totally free once u register.

I don't know if it is the same. I will try it out, though I don't use Windows anymore, hopefully it will still be fine with Google Earth.
