2012 F30 - paddle shifters stopped working
The paddle shifters in my F30 have stopped working consistently. Its almost as if the car can't detect the paddles exist.
I pulled the negative cable on the battery and let it sit for a while to reset the various sensors, and this brought the paddles back to life for a week or so. I can shift through the gears manually using the center console shifter, so the issue looks to be isolated to the paddles themselves. Anyone have experience troubleshooting the paddles on the F30? I did some googling and it looks like this could be due to a faulty paddle shift sensor. |

It looks like the paddles have specific resistance values and the SZL reads these values and tells the transmission how to shift.
Can anyone confirm these resistance values are correct for f30 paddles? + Positive paddle = 180Ω - Negative paddle = 480Ω |
