Has anyone installed this on an F30?

I saw a video of it on youtube and thought it looked like a neat upgrade, wish I would have had the option of adding it on the car I ordered.


I see there are two of them on getbmwparts but don't know which one is the "right one" as both are listed under the F30 category. Also, is this a simple DIY or is an actual tech required? I'd like to save 500 bucks by buying from getbmwparts but I bet my local dealership would insist on me buying it from them if they are installing it.
