OP is entitled to be excited about that experience. This post smacks of jealousy and bitterness.

That was NOT my point. We need to understand whether F30 and F32 have the same steering with DHP.

Very promising information here... I think the M4 is going to be another winner!

Great write up man. The pics look great. I'm still iffy on the 4 series. I'm really waiting to see one in real life with my own two eyes. Especially the M-Sport or M4. What I'm really excited to see though, is if spending a few grand on an E92 (suspension, engine, brakes) will really make it outshine the 4 series. Could end up saving us all quite a bit of money. Then again, that's pretty much how I think. Good review man.

Thanks for sharing the awesome pics/write-up...what an experience!!! I'm really happy to hear they addressed the steering. OP, in your opinion, which color combo looked better in real life? Black w/ coral or the blue w/ saddle? Thanks!

I just noticed something, and I'm not sure if you're going to be able to answer this, but did you notice any lighting differences between the Xenon and LED lights? Did one out-shine the other? Did you even get a chance to see a difference?

OP how was headroom with a helmet, and if you don't mind me asking, how tall are you?
Also, do you know if there is option for a moon roof delete? One thought guys is that "re-design" of steering can just mean a reprogramming. My E89 had a steering rack recall and needed a reflash of the software module related to the steering and it felt much better to me after getting it back. |

Very nice write up OP. Great memories for a lifetime.
BMW told us in Lisbon last month(4er press launch) that BMW Coupes will always be tuned more "sportier" than their mainstream sedans. They know that the customer who buys a coupe wants a more sportier ride/drive then the "a" typical sedan owner. Also the coupe has so much more torsional stiffness over the sedan(I think something like 40% more rigid) - this is one big read along with a lower center of gravity - why the coupes handle better than the sedans. I am curious what the OP think of the brake pedal feel ? Did it feel the same as in your e92 335i vs F32 335i ? Dackel

Nice write up.
Side vents look cheap. Very cheap. I really really REALLY want to believe you when you say the steering has been "fixed". But, I am somehow still skeptical. I will gladly trade in my f30 for an f32 (at a hefty loss) if this were the case. No more first year model purchases for me. #BurnedMyWallet Last edited by Falafel Combo; 08-23-2013 at 05:38 PM.. |

I'm sure they had a lot of nice things to say about the f30 when it was first revealed too. The true test is how these nice, warm and fuzzy trigger words developed by marketing experts are translated in terms of real life engineering, driving dynamics, road feel and smiles per gallon. Agreed. One thing to have red leather. That is hot. Sexy. It's a different thing entirely to have red plastic. Tacky. Very tacky. Last edited by Falafel Combo; 08-23-2013 at 05:39 PM.. |

Nailed it. Haters, man. Op, this is an experience very very very few BMW enthusiasts can claim to have witnessed. It's like being picked out of a huge crowd by your favorite rock and to join them on stage. Screw what anyone thinks. Looks like you had a blast! Was part of the deal or interview that you would have to document, narrate or disseminate reviews (good or bad) to your social media followers ? Did the other drivers whom were picked also have some sort of social media presence? |
