DME

Just wanted to post to let everybody know. If your CEL is on and you happen to pull a code 105201 / Ambient Pressure Sensor (pressure too high), it is a fault in your DME. I have a 2014 335i, been getting some weird random fault codes every so often, but no CEL. Then all of the sudden I get the CEL and a fault code 105201. Took it to the dealership, as it is still under warranty, and after their short test the DME was changed. I do not know if this is a vehicle specific, since I do not know if the DME is the same across the f30.

Thank you.

Eric

After you got the DME replaced did you have to retune your car?
