F30 M Performance Side Skirt Decals Fitted!

Still not sure if I like them but I bought them to see if I would. Unsure whether to leave them on or take them off!?

Look good ~ I wish they didn't have the M Performance on them though! Love your wheels!

Nice car!

........so I have a 2014 F31 (same color as yours) with M sport side and front kit and front splitter/side splitter as yours. I added the the side decal minus the tri-color M performance sticker.

Loved it at first......then from a distance my wagon looked even...taller. As the black sticker, black side splitter looked like a shadow. I do have AWD with stock suspension. I do NOT have adaptive suspension.

Several weeks later I peeled off the side skirt black sticker.......and my wagon "looked" lower.

I think if you had painted the side splitters to match body color you could get away with the black side sticker......but you might start seeing that your vehicle looks..."taller".

Looks very good! But as your splitters are not black, I think it would be better without them.

Tbh the splitter in black ruins the front end of the F30, might just remove the decals.

I do agree, however a black splitter on a light car ruins the front end.

Are those clear reflectors on the second car.... liking that!

For the splitters I could go ether way, think the OP's current look is good. Maybe just needs to live with them a little longer then make the call?

This, I really dont want to change the splitter to mate black winglets, it ruins the front end look.

I think you are right about the splitter - the Matt black makes the detail at the front end disappear in those photos above. I was thinking about these for my F31 but my main hang up is the 'M Performance' decal.... my preference is without that!

Not trying to hijack your thread & your car looks great btw...

So of course I'm gonna be just a tad bit biased... but no way that ruins the front end... Of course that is my opinion & i'm glad we all have opinions, that is why our cars are unique.. i'm glad no one around me has the same look to their car

But i agree with Punisher.. You don't have enough other matte black stuff on the car so i personally don't think it blends as well as it does on mine for example. I'm jealous of the side skirts for sure. I would say no unless you have plans for other matte black items on our car.

Awesome that frontal in matte black! I really like the evolution!

I've got them in the garage waiting to be applied, but was curious how did you do the edges? Did you affix the decal flush with the bottom and front edges or did you wrap them around / under the edge just a little.

I left them with a local wrapping company and collected 30 mins later!
