Coral Red has been around for a long time. I have a few questions:
  • Does this leather color hold well over time? Any staining possibility?
  • Is it hard to keep clean or looks dull after a few years of sun exposure?
  • Is it a chick color for an interior?
  • What other exterior colors does it look good with?
I am a bit on the fence, but it looks quite classy. My only other option on the M-sport could be Black.

My ideal interior color would be Chestnut Brown, but BMW has reduced all our options so drastically.

Does the charm fades away with time as it gets older or and feels too red?

Thanks guys!
I always get complements on the color of my interior. I only have 4 months with it so can't answer with regards to its durability, but others have done so in this thread.

As you can see I have the EBII exterior with the coral, and I wouldn't change it, awesome inside and out. So I think EBII is a good matching exterior as well.

I don't see it as a chick color - but its what YOU think that matters, not what others think. Go with your gut!

MG with Coral Red it is.

That was my gut feeling the moment I saw one from the corner of my eye on the freeway about a month back. Then I sat in one at the dealership last weekend, one with AW exterior (also test drove), it felt a lot nicer to be inside. The back seat being too much red but I could live with that, its part of the charm

Thanks for all the comments. Now its time to order one soon.

Great choice! That is the exact color combination I would go with as well.

I wish the F30 came in Space Gray. SG with CR is probably the most beautiful but MG is the next best choice (aside from AW of cource ).

We were deciding the color combo for our 3GT. Went to local dealer for car wash and checked out the lot but did not find any MG+Coral Red. When we went to pick up my car there was a customer's car right in front of us with MG+CR.

Needless to say our 3GT is going to be that combo

I was very unsure about the coral interior. I got a car out of the port and never saw it until delivery. I was like WOW..... It looks so Awesome with the black dash and floors. I simply LOVE IT.

You won't regret it. I have it in my 328i Sport and my buddy dawned the nickname 'Sexy White Lightning' for the car. The leather is great and looks as new as ever. I've got 100k on the clock.

for my 435 i wanted the coral red interior (i have mineral grey). the only ones i found were the non m-sport package and i felt the package (with black interior) was more of a necessity than the coral red and non m-sport body.

if you're able to find that color combo in m-sport i would pick it up in a heartbeat.

Wow, has it really been 5 years? Looks like OP did indeed get Coral Red.
My CR interior still looks like new. No regrets.

Black is the easiest interior to maintain. Never seen a red interior car that held up well over time at least not before a thorough detail.

I just got a Mineral Gray 435i with the red interior. I had originally dismissed the car as I did not want a red interior, but the selection of manual cars is slim and that was a "have to have" so I revisited this one. Honestly, I think I'd be upset if I did NOT get the red interior, it looks SO MUCH better in person than any picture I have ever seen. It is very tasteful and looks amazing with the Mineral Gray. I am in love with the combo.

Red leather interiors result in divorces.
Maybe it's the other way around.
Divorces result in red leather interiors.

Either way, the problem can be solved by re-badging the car as a Civic.

I really like mine with the white exterior. Mineral gray was the other color I considered.

I had a white E92 with red interior. It was the best color combo I've ever had on any car. I received compliments on the interior all the time. Go for it, you won't regret it.

I was extremely hesitant with the coral red interior when I first bought my F30, but now I don't know when Im gonna stop getting cars with red interior. Originally thought it would be too Loud as a daily driver but it isn't at all. Im glad I went with it

I've been driving the Superman Combo for 5 years now and still love it. Estoril Blue on Coral Red. Get soooo many compliments. I've been thinking about what comes next and while I love EBII, it may be time for a change. Staying with the red, but will probably go with dark gray exterior.

With 66k on the clock my CR interior looks no worse for wear. It is seriously nice to look at, makes the car feel just a bit more special. Almost every time someone new gets into my car they compliment the interior. I love it alongside the Mineral White exterior.

I love my coral red with MGM, I never get tired of opening the door and seeing it. Wonderful, sporty and high quality vibe. I wear dark jeans every day and after nearly a year I've had only very slight dye transfer which came off easily during regular cleanings. Highly recommended!
