Post RaceChip Ultimate for F3X 328d

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 250.00
Shipping Costs Included

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest

Cost:
$679 retail
$548 shipped with coupon (paid)

Used for a week to make sure it worked ;-) The install took a few minutes, pretty sweet. I felt a nice power improvement, esp in overall pull. I'd say it performs as advertised and Race Chip is big global name so I felt confident buying and using it.

I work in the performance parts industry and did a lot of research before buying this. I feel it's the best unit on the market right now.

Why am I selling: I took it off as I want to resist the mod bug for the F31 and dump my mod $$$ into my E46 ;-)

Sale Price $250 shipped.

Btw, reach out to RaceChip as the Ultimate version is transferable to other cars and engine (i think).. So see what other engines this one is able to transfer to.

Still available?

And still have your F31? If so, how's it running?

Experimental yep, still avail!

Running great. Averaged 42mpg at ~85mph on a 550 mile road trip recently.

Sweet! I just purchased a used F31 that is almost identical to yours. Seriously considering the Race Chip.

Interested. I am not seeing 328d as an option on the race chips website. Do you have the part number or anything?

RaceChip does support the 328d, pls see below. They built their business tuning diesel vehicles and the N47 is quite popular abroad. *I am selling the previous generation hardware.

I'll check for a part number tomorrow when I get to work! (the RaceChip is in my office)

There is no part number. (sounds shady, right?)

Race Chip (and many other European tuners) used a standard "box" that would accept vehicle specific tunes. It would then be mated to a car with a specific harness.

I'll email Race Chip to see if I can validate what I have. I obviously installed and ran it on my EBII 328d but I can understand some skepticism if you aren't familiar with how European tuners sold tunes.

I bought it from dtmhaus.net who is now out of business, so that doesn't help much either (they were the main US source for RaceChip in 2013-2014)

Haha! Thank you for the information! I am still interested, just curious of the expected gains and the ability to get help down the road if need be. Also longevity since I want to run this car forever haha!
