I plugged the sensor back to avoid the code being thrown.

Not interested in down pipes. I'm looking for a good tune that isn't gonna give me any future probs. Just reading about this is giving me a headache. Some say one is better than the other. Some make the car jerky. Some are blowing engines. Some give the car more power. Don't know what to believe. My preference is Dinan, but for double the price of anything else, I'm not spending that kinda $ LOL

Just flash and call it a day cost same as dinan and much more reliable and undetected you don't need to remove before going to dealer

I don't believe so. Dealer likes the looks and the sweet sound it makes. They haven't had an AA in their shop before.

I have the AA exhaust. Been very happy with it, although it rattles a bit on start up - I don't blame the exhaust, but the installers.

I wish I could take some nice videos because the car makes a good noise along with my Injen intake.

As for DP, I'd avoid it - reason being, the CEL and smell. It's such a pain taking it on/off for service. If you get a JB4 + DP, you may run into issues with certain maps exceeding the power limits of this motor.

It will give you a good bump in HP and make nice noises though.

Hello all, I’m being quoted $270 get this installed in f30 N26 engine. Is this a fair price? The estimate also mentions welding- thought it was just a clamp and no welding was required? Any advice will be greatly appeciated. Thanks

that's way too much. you should install it yourself. even if you didn't have a floor jack and stands. you could reverse it close to the end of a loading dock to have roomy access. cut the mid-pipe at the dimple, remove the hangars and old axle back. install hangars, new axle back and clamp.

That’s what’s I thought. In addition, he also wanted to charge me an additional $55 for shop supplies. I found a good custom muffler shop who would do it for $75-$100. I can’t wait to get it installed next week along with the Dinantronics sports tuner!
