19 inch square setup

Hey guys - I have a 2017 340i xdrive with the staggered 19 inch wheels. In thinking about winter tires I would like to go with a square setup if possible -so I can rotate them - and was wondering what size would fit on both front and rear rims (which I would like to keep using) if anyone knows. Stock sizes are 225/40-19 F and 255/35-19 R. Maybe 245/40-19 all around? thx

guys at tirerack tell me that 235/40-19 is best square set up that will fit both F and R rims - 245 is too wide for front apparently. would be interested in any other thoughts.

Thing is - I like my choices much more at 245/40 - 19

Are you planning to break those down every fall and spring?

Im not sure what Ill do. I think if I went with a conti extreme dws square set up at 245/40-19 I probably would like the way the car drives more than with the oem runflats. In that case I'd just keep them on year round and save the oem tires for when I return the car in three years. if I go with a more dedicated winter tire - leaning toward hakkapelita R2 (love nokians) I'd probably want a better warm weather tire and in that case would switch. I have arrived at the point in life where I don't want to bother switching wheels in the spring and the winter. Conti dws makes most sense - but want square setup. My first choice was Nokian WRG3 which I had on my previous STi and that set up was just awesome in every condition. Cant find the WRG3 in a size that works for my 19 inch wheels tho.

Just found these tires which look pretty darn good. Seems you have to order them from Europe tho.
