I guess I don't quite understand reasoning, justification, philosophy, etc that its acceptable to drive a car with an M appearance package but not acceptable to place the same badge on the car yourself. It's not like the guy put an M5 badge on the car, its just an M (Motorsport) badge. I mean, BMW has had an M appearance package for for many years, in Europe you see all kinds of non-M cars with M badges running around. Im not against the M sport, actually I wish that it was a little more than appearance and added some key performance components of the M, ala Chevy Camaro 1LE compared to the ZL1. Maybe Im just not up to speed on what's accepted when it comes to adding appearance items. Based on the inputs above, its either taboo because he didn't pay a lot of money for it or because he placed it on his trunk. |

as much as i hate this kind of thing, I understand the logic. Its not about the car, its not about the driver, its about getting chicks.
A recent conversion I had with a mate when i got my f30: me: hey I got a m-sport body kit friend: you should get a m3 badge on it me: its embarrassing friend: chicks love it
