Speed
I got up to 115 on the freeway. I had my radar detector and could see far into the distance. Things go by fast at that speed. NW Ohio

155 mph in both N20 Sport line and N26 M Sport 328i with BMS tune. Car gets to 145 easily, but takes a little work to get to the limiter. Very stable at those speeds. A bit choked out at the higher end but with a good intake and DP, would easily eclipse the limiter if removed.

Only been up to 145 mph on the highway here. The car was very stable and it was clear that there was much more speed available had I chosen to keep accelerating.

Fastest I've driven is about 122 MPH in my old E36 323is. That was on a state highway in Kansas. I also got up to almost 120 MPH on the autobahn during ED. Didn't want to push it much since it was during the break-in.

Got the 335i up to 105 on the highway a couple of times for short distances. It could have gone way faster if I would have pushed it. It's definitely an eager one. Was cruising at about 75 and gave it some gas and in no time up over 100!

Ive hit 147 twice. Couldn't go any faster because of traffic. Ive never had the room to do it yet. Must be the traffic in Florida....

Over 150 multiple times. Gets up there swiftly, especially with a BMS tune. Car has more. Doesn't take very long to get up to 140 plus.

I said to my ex. No worries I 'm a foreigner. 2 months later I received a letter plus my car/face on the camera and a fine of less than 20 euros for 'speeding'. The bureaucraZy....8kmh(5mph speeding).... Two years ago in Florence Italy I happened to drive in a ONE way for lorries/buses only in the centre of the old city. What did I know! No signs whatsoever(Italy gotta love it) And after >9 months(!!!!) I recieved two fines (Two photos, one taken 10 minutes after the other, because I was lost in that labyrinth) at my office of the Carbinieri /Polizia: >200,- euros each!!!!!(Including spaghetti/pizzas for the whole Florentine police squad?) I searched the internet for this sh1t and many many foreign tourists got those fines. Juridically the polizia was right and I paid those fines. Not even for speeding. I love Italy but at that very moment not so much.... Cheers Robin |

On leaving his office, I asked when was the ticket issued. Turns out that I got the ticket my second week there. I thought to myself, "I was taking it easy then. I wonder how many more tickets are in the cue." I never got called back into his office to discuss my driving Joel
