I’ve just loaded the firmware update posted, of course if you decide to do this also it’s at your own risk. That out the way it seems to work fine no issues so far I’m not sure what’s new/fixed I can only see the new Mercedes Benz UI option which is horrible btw also if anyone tries this do not go into the factory setup touch screen settings as it can mess up the touch screen area and it’s really had to reset it back again

I’ll update again if I find anything new/fixed

I'm not sure I couldn't get them to change, I hoped they would allow me to map other buttons to do more things but it doesn't seem like it.

Also never go into the 'Touch Area' part as it will shrink the screen size making it hard to click on anything to set it back.

Mine is bought from Aliexpress and has no problem even with avin update or January update
If u brick ur device u can go back anytime with the old one , there is from August to November
(In case u want to go back with avin october update)

My unit is from Avin, the update works fine for me so far, no doubt Avin will release the same update when they are able

So far its worked fine you just have to watch out for that touch area screen. I will give it a good test today as I have a 3-hour trip.

Just now need an updated CarPlay (PhoneMirror) application the Avin one crashes each startup and the one someone else posted gets stuck in a loop at boot asking for USB access.

Does anyone know of any applications where you can set the screen brightness based on the time of day?

On your screenshots, what is the difference between “BMW EVO NEW and BMW ID6”?
Has anyone played with the “touch key” settings?
I also see part of a Dashboard menu... is there now a way to change to gallons and MPH on the dashboard screen?

I believe the 'Evo New' was the old tile mode and should be in the old firmware but ill test it out.

Touch Key I could not get to do anything.

If possible post screen shots of everything, and please check the Dashboard to see if readouts can change to mph and gallons.

I'm in the same boat with the carplay app. The old version from Avin crashes but any newer/updated ones ask for USB permissions everytime it boots/starts.

Did you get the update from the reseller? I'm really hoping that there is a centralized place where we can all go and get them, instead of this one person is able to get one here and there kind of thing.
