I'm glad I tried to sit in those seats with my coat on. Even with the bolsters fully deflated I don't fit in them and i had to cancel sport on my e91. What a bummer. I can't believe how tight those seats are. It was such a non-fit that I had to sit in the seat sideways. I'm 6'2" and 195lbs. FORGET IT. It wasn't even close.
Guess I have to buy 17" wheels with cash, after the fact.

Were you wearing a thick fur coat? Those South Pole bubble jackets probably aren't too good of a fit either.
But seriously, how big of a coat were you wearing? Was it a big coat or a jacket?

Sport seats require some getting used too. The first time I sat in the seats I was like what the hell!! But after a few times I loved them. They secure you in the seat so well.
BTW - 5'11" 210 lbs.

Dude theres no way you are too wide for those seats...I'm 5'10 195, have a pretty wide back/shoulders and have the bolsters all the way inflated. You are by no means a "big" or "fat" guy at 195 and 6'2"-did you have like a huge coat on?

You know we're just bustin' on you, right? Can't the side bolsters be adjusted out? Thought they could on sport seats.

Yeah right! Lose weight?? I don't think so. i'm a Masters swimmer and I still compete..
Anyway I was simply wearing a thin fleece coat and i do NOT fit in the seats. Nor does my friend I was with NOR the salesperson!!! He was an average large guy, not fat or stocky, just big. The salesperson said that he advises persons of 190+ to NOT get sport seats. It wasn't even close!!!! We deflated the bolsters entirely and when laying back, my lower back is prevented from touching the lumbar surface beacuse those wings are too tight. YES they were deflated. I would ask you guys this question: When the key is in the ignition, is it possible that the sport bolsters deflate even more? Could it be that the bolsters don't let all the air out when the key is NOT in the ignition? Today is the last day I can make changes. i better go test this. I AM bummed about not getting sport because it leaves me with the 16" donuts.

So, you didn't order sport seats right? Good thing you found out first! Think how bad that would suck. I have a cousin that is 6'7" and he has to "try on" cars too, not just test drive.

If you saw me in person you would describe me as tall but not big.
I wear a 44long in a sport coat, and my pants are 35x34. I typically do not buy XXL clothes. i find that XLT is the best fit for me. hehe
