Suggestions on my first build (f32)

Hey all, just bought myself a 2015 435i m sport. I want to start modding it a little here and there. Any suggestions, I’m new to this and want to hear from others that have modded their n55’s

Welcome to the forum. There are many many many threads on this topic, please take the time to do some searching on the forum and let us know what YOU found.

Please specify your budget, what your intentions are for the car? (as in cosmetics, power or both), etc

Looking to do charge pipe, intake, downpipe, and tune. I still have dealership warranty, so I want a tune that can easily be removed.

Be very careful tuning because if their system detects that there was at tune say bye bye to your warranty (most likely just related to anything electrical)

If you tune your car your drive train warranty will be voided. If you're worried about your warranty it's best to wait until the warrant expires. Enjoy modding your car though, the F32 is a wonderful platform.

Intake shouldnt be too big of an issue.. Downpipe and tune tho might cause issues with your warranty. even if you try to add and remove the tune, ECU might leave a trace.

is your 435i Xdrive or RWD?

JB4 is less risky than a flash tune but if they really want to find that your car was tuned they can. Flash tunes they're definitely going to find out. You may be ok with a JB4 but if you blow your engine and they investigate for the warranty claim don't be surprised if the claim is denied. People have run a JB4 or similar bolt on and have no problems just something to think about.

Same thing i tell everyone... if you tune/mod your car out of warranty, there is no coverage. If you tune/mod your car in warranty, there may or may not be coverage. So long as you believe the tune/mod is not going to directly cause any problem, as you should if you are going to install it, then there's really no reason to wait. Of course, everyone's risk tolerance is different.

Maintenance before mods. It's a 7 year old car that likely needs some attention. Spend some time getting to know the car, see what needs fixing before going full blast with mods.

Car was fully inspected and had a ton of things replaced prior to sale. Full maintenance and parts records

How many miles does the car have?

Warranty or not, I suggest to replace the charge pipe with Evolution Racewerks one (not a commercial endorsement - just personal experience). N55 charge pipe failure can retire the engine prematurely.
