What do you mean by rough and also by rev? My car is somewhat jerky in first gear when in sport after i got the intake installed. Also on a cold start my car may go up in the rpm once or twice and then idles fine. Not sure if that's what you mean by rev.

I have a bone stock '12 N26 328i. I've noticed the same thing when parked, occasionally it will stumble and rev up. Lasts about 15-30 seconds and then goes back to normal. Each time it has happened the A/C has been running and I've just been idling parked. It's not every time I'm parked and happens randomly. I just assumed it was the A/C compressor cycling and causing it.

Intake and charge pipe have been on OP's car since November. Highly doubt the rough start is caused by these mods.

Either way i advised him to get a mechanic to check it out and see what is going on.

Yeah I've had BMW check it out and they found no faults but there seems to be something off, maybe the shop I got it installed at did not do it correctly
