DIY: Pre-LCI rear lights issue

Hi, just to share with you another approach regarding the known issue with rear lights errors poping out on dashboard.

Apparently, ground wire in connector is undersized, so it often heats up too much and melts the connector.

I wanted to avoid soldering at all costs and also wanted to have option to return to factory condition if I ever wanted.

Used the dremel tool to make slot for connector inside the light housing, and fitted wire snuggly through drilled hole, so it doesn't leave place for water to come in (a tad of superglue added there, just to be sure).

This it how it looks in the end.
