Obligatory first post. Just picked up an Alpine white 2015 428i Gran Coupe with MSport and Xdrive. Still getting a feel for it, but so far Im impressed!

Already soaking up lots of info on these forums. Great resource.
Pics to come after a proper detail.

Here is my GC. 2016 435i xdrive. I would like to change the ash wood interior trim to something more sporty.

New guy here :)

Hello everyone, I've just joined Bimmerpost.
I'm keen to learn as much as I can on here in the pursuit of modifying my F36 430d X-Drive M Sport. Here she is as she currently stands. My next mods are likely to include: wheel spacers 12mm front and 15mm rear, air filter system upgrade (not sure what yet) and maybe a Kufatech active sound module (I'm not completely sold on that yet, I haven't seen one in the flesh). I am open to critic and suggestions!

Looks amazing with those red calipers. Did you paint them yourself?

Cheers Chief, I had them sprayed up professionally. I didn't trust myself to do a decent enough job!

Lol. I did them on my F30. Didn't come out too shabby i must say but it did take time and patience. They put an emblem on it or its straight red?
What did that run you may i ask?

The company is called Autovogue (AVR), they are a small business here in the UK. They are the same people that designed and fitted the custom body-kit. There is a small AVR emblem on the calipers. When I get chance I'm going to get the heat gun and floss on the small silver AVR badges on the body, I just think it will look better without on reflection. Have you got pics of your car?

Nice , I honestly think it looks best in black. Do you not have to display a front plate in Maryland? I so wish I could take mine off here in the UK for a cleaner look!

Actually here in MD you do but since I bought the car in Kentucky it doesn't require both since i had it registered there. Im glad i didn't have to drill into the M bumper.

I'm ready for an upgrade - Swapping my 2013 F30 in for a 2017 F36 4-GC next week.. Going to miss a couple of equipment pieces from my current car (Alpine speaker upgrade, pro navigation including extended cluster) but the 4GC is just such a beauty so I'm exited.

Just hope I can get a big iDrive display back and upgrade the speakers - two of the main issues at the moment

Took delivery of my 2017 420d GranCoupe (pre-LCI) Friday afternoon and have been on a family road trip since then visiting friends and seeing some of the northern parts of Denmark - Just returned and my GOD!

As I came from a 2013 320d F30 I didn't really expect it to drive very differently and I didn't really expect it to sound different. Boy was I wrong.

I must say I'm very impressed and very very pleased with my new baby ... It's even missing the beautiful NBT Pro nav my old car had, but I'm still in love.

It's very noticeable in my opinion that it's both lower and wider. The engine update of the 20d engine also makes it very different in power delivery to me - much smoother and bigger difference from eco to sport now compared to the old car - and it might be because of the different exhaust it has, but the sound is also a massive upgrade!

Just wanted to chime in with my thoughts here and damn... I'm in love... (Just wish my garage roof was higher - have to adjust the tailgate down in level because of it! :-) )

I have a 2017 440 x drive gran coupe and it is an amazing car. Would highly recommend for anybody wanting a versatile car with the body of a coupe and the convenience of having 4 doors as well.

No doubt the best of both worlds

Any reason I should wait to get a used 2016 vs a first model year used 2015 435i Gran Coupe? The prices are really coming down here in SoCal. Thank you for your input.

Depends on the waiting time Later ModelYear is always a good idea, but I would not wait for one year just for that.
