Tire Bubble Dilemma

Hey folks. Hoping y'all can help me out here. I'm driving a '17 440 with the 21C 442M staggered mixed perf tires. I believe they're the Goodyear OEM runflat all-seasons, which means that they're horrible.

I intend to autocross this season, and my plan was to burn through that OEM rubber doing some light, non-competitive autocrossing while I familiarize myself with the power and handling of my new ride. Unfortunately I picked up a tiny bubble in the front right tire the other day, barely noticeable, but if you run your finger over it you can feel it, and I'm in a bit of a dilemma now. The fact that it's a front tire makes it worse, and I can't rotate it to a rear tire because the 442M is a staggered setup, and I have my first autoX next Saturday (April 1st).

I have three options:
1) Fuck it, autocross it anyways and pray pray pray I don't blow my tire.
2) Swap them out for the tires I was going to get right after - Conti DWS06's - and toss the old tires (or try to resell them?)
3) Bring it in to a tire shop and change that one tire, and basically spend ~$300 just to deal with that bubble so I'm not risking blowing it on an autocross.

Thoughts?

What's up with these Goodyear run flats. Why are they so crappy.

Tirerack has them listed as Grand Touring summer tires, not all-season. Assuming they are Goodyear EfficientGrips.

Are they the ones that come with the 442M's? I'm not too sure. I remember reading somewhere on the forums that they were all-season RFTs. But yeah, they feel like shit too.

Interesting. Those are definitely Summer tires.
Don't think they offer those in my 400m size, so they didn't show up on my list.

I've heard the Goodyear EfficientGrips also develop sidewall bubbles. So it seems nuts that yours have too. What the hell is wrong with Goodyear run flats, and why would BWM use them if they suck so bad.

Runflats in general bubble easier, I've heard/experienced. I had hit a pothole with it, but I wasn't going terribly fast nor was it a particularly big pothole - just a bog standard Boston one.

Anyways, thoughts on what I should do?

I have Goodyear F1s on my F32 --- I got bubbles on 2 tires in my first year, and now another bubble in the 3rd year --- they're really crappy (even my dealer told me so) --- the dealer recommended I switch to Bridgestone.

I did bring the car on a high speed ride with the bubble (it was still small then) --- didn't have trouble --- by the end of the ride though, the bubble got bigger

Hopefully bubbles only happen to some small amount of the overall # of Goodyear run flats sold and driven on. Also thinking a little extra air pressure may help with that, so the tire doesn't collapse as much on impact with a pothole etc. Also sounds like another reason to consider running non run flat tires.

eta - think I like option 2 .. get new tires and sell them

I've had bubbles. If they are small even my Service Advisor said I'd be ok. Just keep an eye on it. I got a small bubble on my winter run Flats and in 3 weeks it became so huge it made my tire asymmetrical... so I had to get new tires.
