Need help coding a new gauge cluster

Hello,

I recently purchased a BMW M3/M4 Guage Cluster for my 2015 435i and I installed it and it fits perfectly, everything lights up, but only the speedometer is working not the rpms, gas levels and temp levels they are stuck at stationary.

The only thing that is active is my Mileage and speedometer (it did that automatically)

I haven't coded any vehicles before, but I know how to work myself around codes etc, so if someone could help me out with setting this up to my vehicle that would be amazing, I doubt BMW would help me, and if they did I'm probably paying over $300 lol

I don't even know what programs you can use to view the code on BMW's I have a ENET and a Bluetooth OBD cable and laptops/pcs I can use.

Just need someone to set me up in the right direction, because I'm walking blind.

Here are the errors popping up since the install:

Update Instrument Cluster
Convertible roof error. Check secure!
Set time and date
Parking break failure
Lane Departure warning failure
Park Assist Failure. Park yourself

I also tried to view my Instrument Cluster though the BimmerCode app and it says "Coding Data Invalid"

You will have faultcodes though.

This can’t be done through Bimmercode, you need Esys.

Yeah I understand it wont be able to be done with Bimmercode.

Which is why I'm reaching out for help, cause I have no clue what codes to touch and such

I really do not get why people that have never coded or used esys think they can do something like this.

It's like a person graduating from medical school and thinking they can perform a heart and lung transplant the next day.

Or in this case, an elementary school student attempting it.

Remote coding?

Obviously I'm not attempting it myself so no need to throw shade at me lol, I'm trying to find someone to do it for me, though I have a history of coding just not with vehicles.

I will obviously compensate, are you familiar with this type of coding?

You can download .EST and a working launcher from the following,

Download E-SYS Bundle (E-SYS V 3.30 and 3.27, plus Loader and EST) here.
https://bmwtune.com/download/esys_complete.zip

Download E-SYS Loader Only (.EST Included) here.
https://bmwtune.com/download/esys_loader.zip

Download E-SYS .EST Only here.
https://bmwtune.com/download/est_token.est

Follow the instructions and you'll be fine. You will need to get an activation code, email bmwtunecom@gmail.com for it once you're all set up ans squared away.

So you will probably end up paying to him.

Which is not necessary.
For this particular coding you do NOT need Esys Launcher.
Esys would be enough.

If you do happen to have issues, send me a message. I’ll do it for you using Teamviewer.

That's exactly what I'm NOT doing. Since everyone else is charging for the codes, I feel like it's necessary to set every one up with a working activation code for free.

Hi ibo24 I am also having this problem, I’ve looked around and it seems like you’re the only guru who knows how to fix this problem. I can download eSYS, I will pay you to remote into my laptop and fix this problem. I just bought the car yesterday the previous owner tried to code with Carly and this same problem is happening.

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Left-Click on Kombi => Click on "Detect CAF for SWE" => Select the CAFD from latest I-Level shown (bottom) => Select OK => Right-Click on Kombi (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

It’s going to see the VIN is not the same and give you all types of issues. It will also light up a red tamper light as the odometer mileage is different.

I have retrofitted the F8x to F3x cluster, all functions are good and without errors.
