Viewing a 420d, anything I should be wary of?

I'm off to hopefully pick up a 420d 64 reg with 35k on the clock. Car seems pretty much clean and straight, still under the service pack with BMW. Fully kitted out apart from sunroof so I'm happy with the spec. I'm not hugely mechanically minded and would appreciate if anyone could tell me what I should be checking on such a car? Car is privately for sale so I have to do all my own checks at my own risk!

If you aren't mechanically minded take someone along who is. If you want better piece of mind get the aa to do a report for you.
Small outlay but may find something which you could negotiate of the price.

If it sounds like it’s missing two cylinders, don’t worry that’s normal!

Think I'm going to get a car inspection booked in, there's too much I would miss out if I was going to view alone. Trust me, if I could go for a 430d or something nicer I would but my age doesn't permit it financially.
