Finally!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com My dealer had the car in the showroom when I arrived with a sign on a pedestal beside the car that basically read "Tulley BMW is proud to be sending this 335i home with (my name)" Will post some pics in a day or so |

Ask your CA for a production number &/or VIN if you don't have it yet...you can then track status on BMWNA |

You did good. I ordered my SA build 335i on Jan 21 and didn't receive it until April 29 - 14 weeks.

I ordered my SA MY13 June 12th, expected PCD pickup September 25th. I dont even want to do the math on that one. Arrives at port August 26th...a whole additional month to wait for PCD. And I got lucky and ended up on the Genuine Ace ship, which transports directly from SA to the US with only a quick stop in Germany without having to unload the car.
Just make sure you know what to expect..its a long long wait and just given that so much of the logistics are out of BMW's hands since the majority of the time is spent in transportation, there's little chance of 'getting lucky' with a quick SA delivery. Don't mean to sound like a debbie downer, it's just BS when dealers say 2-3 months...its really 3-4 months. |

here is a good link in case it hasn't been posted on this thread already. Gives you the planned itinerary. Mine left Durban 7/21 and will reach Bruswick GA for PCD delivery 8/29. Use this link to find your ship (if it's in range - i.e. not in the middle of the atlantice and reasonable close to shore). From there you can see what the ETA is for the next port to determine if you'll be delayed as the top link doesn't update and just reflects the 'planned' trip. (i think) http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/def...spx?level0=100 Didn't realize there was an SA to US Ship that went direct. I thought I was lucky by just staying on the same ship. I think there's an even worse situation then where your car would be unloaded in germany from one ship and then loaded back onto another a few days later... |

There is Automatic and Sport Automatic. Sport gives you paddle shifters for instance, does your car have this?
