Road trip on new BMW

What is the longest trip on your new BMW? How comfortable we're the seats for you and your passengers, any road noise. Is it a good highway cruiser and what was your mpg. Any other complaint or praise you would like to share.thanks

lol seeing how I stay in Hawaii, the longest trip I will be making is the trip around the island, which is about 100 miles

I drove me car home from Atlanta, and it was mostly highway and I alternated between sport, comfort and Eco pro.

The main thing that I can point out is that there is plenty of power in comfort mode, but when you switch to sport it is beast-like, way more than the E90 I had with the N54.

It's really hard to drive in sport during the break in period, because it really wants to rev. you would constantly be up shifting.

I'm pretty sure you can drop it off in a number of different places.

Do you have to take any autobahn highway in your route, what is like to drive 100+ mph in the new f30?

LOL i haven't started my trip yet, not until i pick up my car in 10 days

I am 10 days away from the trip.

I will certainly be driving on the autobahn... I have driven 100+mph in my E30 and E36, but not yet on the F30.

To answer's OP question... as a cruiser, the car easily handles 90-100 mph (160km/h) !
and as far as mpg... i didn't pay too much attention...

so I guess my bigger/longest trip with the F30 is a dozen of days driving it for my ED.

what about the rest of you?

Anyone else ?

1300 miles over three days. Me and two non-driving sons -- which meant more top-40 than I have ever listened to in my life. Mix of highway and back roads. Excellent comfort -- usually alternate between the two memory settings for variety. Wonderful highway cruising; particularly enjoy the cruise control wheel that allows 1 mph or 5 mph incremental adjustments. Highway cruising in EcoPro; highways through cities in Comfort; backroads in EcoPro except for passing and through towns. MPG very high 30s on the highway, mid 30s on backroads. Overall, at the pump MPG for the entire trip = 36.5. (For comparison, computer MPG = 37.8) Very, very happy.
