different shift knobs

Hello, my apologies for this but I have not been able to find any info on this issue: see I have a 2014 328i and it has the regular shifter but I have seen a 2014 328i with this other type of shifter as well so I'm confused. Did BMW change it? There is one with the large P button and one with the small I'll post pictures later

The one with the large P at top is the sports shifter.

The other is not.
