Just one more thing...
As I still have nearly 3 months to wait for my car and after adding option after option to my spec list it got me thinking...
What is the one optional extra you would add onto your order? Was there anything you crossed off your list but if you'd had the extra budget then you'd have definitely included it? What is the best option you added? |

if I could have one more option right now it would be the Msport brakes. |

The best option I picked was the automatic gear. If I had the extra cash, I would pick the Professional navigation system instead of the Business version (or was it the other way round? :-)

I added Sports seats and HUD after I bought my 335, couldn't help it and so happy I did. However the 19" rims is a great afterthought that I couldn't resist to start with...

I got all the options I wanted...I don't want to say later "damn, I should have stepped up".
I didn't get the driving/parking assists, or the HK radio...but I got everything else. |

i added the 19in wheels a few weeks after my initial order. 2) if i had the extra budget, i would get the bigger i-drive screen. 3) the best option i added is to choose the manual transmission rather than go with the "standard" 8AT.

If I could go back I would try the HK audio system and order it if it sounded better than the stock system.
I am glad I sprang for the HUD. I would have probably gotten a couple speeding tickets already if I did not have my speed constantly projected on the road in front of me. And the integration with NAV is very, very cool. |

For me it was the opposite, what was the one thing I would delete from my order. Only one thing came to mind-
I took off the cold weather package, and added heated front seats only. I needed the heated front seats, but realized I didn't really want the "warming" functionality built into my precious M Sport steering wheel The drilled bumper holes from the headlight sprayers bother me and are unnecessary. I'd prefer to do the cleaning on my own http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...oduct_Count=10 The only thing I'm missing now are the heated rear seats, which didn't justify the bumper holes and heated steering wheel which I would never, ever use. I would've added the heated rear seats as a separate option if possible.

Seeing how I have every option I could get on my Luxury Line, there was not much to wish for
However, at first I would have said that I would have loved to have the Active Cruise Control but that was not available yet. Now, after I know how the radar looks like on the bumper, I will forego on that wish and don't want it anymore lol. Instead, what I would have liked now was the freedom to add sport seats to my car, that's probably the only thing I kind of miss not having right now. And maybe I should have waited buying my car altogether and just should have gone with the M-Sport instead..

Surprised at how much I enjoy the Enhanced BT b/c of the iPod interface. Especially the ability to scroll through songs w/ the little wheel on the steering wheel -- song titles appear in the central display in the instrument cluster.
Next option would have been Navi/HUD and would have picked that if I had ordered rather than bought off the lot. Nothing on the lot had Navi w/out other, unwanted, options. In the just dreaming category: Agree with other posters who would have preferred better brakes. Also would have loved a non-RFT tire option. |

are you sure its the brakes and really not the tires??? ive heard that changing tires makes a world of difference all around from braking to overall performance ...

The e-brake is also terrible, by the way, it is unable to hold my car on a slight slope :/

I would have liked to have the choice of 'ultra high performance' all season tires as an option, but ordered the all seasons BMW offers.
From the reviews with those tires, they aren't the best all seasons out there, especially lack luster in braking, and cornering grip. No big deal as I'll be upgrading to UHP all seasons, likely the new Bridgestone RE970AS pole position. Should be around $1000 installed from TireRack directly. Lucky for me they are about 70 miles east of here. |
