Do the M Performance Brakes get tacked onto the MSRP or the cap cost?

The invoice on the M Performance Brakes at $2,295 but my dealer is telling me that it gets added to the cap cost, not the MSRP which would residualize the amount. Ultimately, that means that by the end of the lease, I will have paid $2,300 more on the lease payments which ultimately makes the brakes come entirely out of pocket. On a 24 month lease, that adds $100/month to the payment.

Can anyone verify?

Yep. That's accurate. They are not residualized. The performance exhaust gets 400 residualized.
