Wheels look to small

Hey guys this may sound stupid but I was wanting some input from others.

Okay so I have style 437m on 225/40 and 265/35 tires and to me they look small but I saw a picture of another f30 335 with the same wheels but he is running 255/35 and 285/30 on his wheels and it looks perfect! I was wondering what is the issue why when I look at my wheels I think they are two small mine are powder coated as well and his are the stock m3 colors

Thanks

He has tires that are wider than yours, other than that there should be no difference unless he has wider wheels as well as the tires. If you want a wider look go for wider tires like he has.

I dont think its width. Its the hight of the tyres. Since u have more rubber around your rim it makes your rim look smaller

If the wheels are the same, ofcourse the 225 will look smaller than 255 has the 225 might be too stretch.

Mine are 235/40/19x8.5
265/35/19x9.5

Your car is the reason i keep coming back to just wanting to order 437m reps. Looks fantastic with the rocker panel vinyl and overall color scheme of the car.

Thanks,
Pull the trigger you wont be disappointment. JUT FYI. These reps from OEMCONCEPT are not cheap reps from ebay, the quality is there and a lot of member with them. et35 front and et40 rear pair with 235/40 and 265/35 will be good fitment and same OEM high.

I have a set of these sitting in my apartment waiting to be installed once the winter weather subsides (can't come soon enough) and wanted your opinion on tire sizes. I know you mentioned in a previous thread that 235 in the front and 265 in the rear was a little wide (OEMConcept recommended 225 and 255), but wanted to know if your opinion has changed at all.

In my other threads I commented that 265 is a bit wide for the 19x9.5 et35. Which was the one I got. Now, et40 will sit better for 265. Which I had to machine down 5mm for those rear. That's how mine looks now. I wanted it a bit wider than 255 which I had on my OEM 403M. 255 will also bit a little stretch IMO. 255 on 8.5 looks good not quite sure on 9.5, thats why i bump for 265 on 9.5

In other words, for 19x9.5 wheels the 265 will fit better than 255. It would all depends on the wheels ET.

Here is a shot from rear side.

Reps or OEM?

225 are just too small for 437m OEM.

This. Wider will also help as well. Are you on stock suspension? If so, lower it and decrease the wheel gap from the wheel to the fender and it will also help the appearance.

Mine aren't the reps so you think if I went wider it would look better? But decrease the height instead of 40 go to a 35 in front? And 30 in rear?

Yes, OEM are 10, so you will have to go 35/30 and try 235/265 and pray not to rub as you are on coil

Is your car lowered? I don't think it is but just want to make sure.
