MPSS sizing
I just got offered a good deal on 4 MPSS
I want everyones opinion on the sizing and fit for the f30-also do you think this setup will look good on the car?. 8.5 ET36 255/35 19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport front 9.5 ET38 265/35 19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport rear Ideally I wanted a 245/35 19 for the front-will the 255/35 be a big difference and will it be noticeably different in size when looking at the car? Also will I experience any rubbing? I am on stock suspension right now (driving M sport) but I may add H&R sport springs down the line. I do not know much about tires so your help would be greatly appreciated!! |

Sounds great! Good tire sizes, right wheel sizes, offsets are almost what I would pick (35/40).
If you do a 245 front, you'll want to do a 255 rear. 245 -> 265 is about 1/2" difference in height. With that, the front will look too small, unless you're lowered, and then the rear may be too big. =)

so 255/35 front and 265/35 rear is a solid choice? I want to make sure it looks good and will not rub even if I lower it on h&r sport springs in the future

So I just purchased the rear tires and they are
Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/35/19 All I have left are the fronts so I could really use some opinions! I am leaning towards 255/35/19 right now and want to get your thoughts before I have to make a gamble!! Last edited by jtskariah; 03-07-2017 at 06:11 PM.. |

I went with a 235/40 in the front to pair with my 265/35 in the rear. This way the wheel/tire diameter are near identical and have a similar sidewall look. The problem with a 255 aesthetically is that there is only a centimeter difference between your front/rear tire widths but a whole inch difference between your front/rear rim width. This means you'll have a bubbly looking front tire that won't look like the rear. By going with a 235 there will be a 3cm difference between your front and rear tire widths which is roughly the same as the inch difference between rim widths. This will make the front and rear sidewall look much more similar. Hope that helps
