the active hybrid 3 is ever so slightly higher mpg than 335i...
what's the point of "hybrid" in this thing?
i don't get it
if you think gas, get 328i, why get an active hybrid at that price?
pointless...

I don't understand this. It's not really individual if you are picking from a set palette. What it really sounds like to me is 6 production colors tagged as "individual" to give them a reason to charge an absolutely asinine price.

I can see the point in the fee for the truly individual colors in that they have to obtain the color and shut things down to go out of the way to paint it the color you'd like, but it sounds like the pre-selected "individual" colors are probably just colors that are already ready to go in their painting system like AW or EB II, they just need someone to trigger the option on an order.

Power is great, I never drove a regular F30 335, I had an E92 6MT 335 N55 before this, and the power is definitely an improvement..idk if it's the 8AT or the extra electric motor but the car definitely moves.

I got it because of all of the incentives the car came out about $40 a month less than an equally equipped 335 non AH3. So I figured at $40 less a month, and to save some gas here and there..it was kind of a no brainer for me. Only thing I do kinda miss is the 6MT.

wow, youd' think more stuff means more money but you're paying 480 less a year. good stuff!

I like it but 5k is a lot of $$$ for a color that will probably get dinged when reselling. So the actual cost I can see this being 10k.

I love it however.

The brochure on the window says 18" wheels though and you said 20". Did you get another set of rims/tires?

Is it me or 20" wheels and ActiveHybrid 3 defeats the purpose of getting higher gas mileage

Those wheels are like boat anchors in the realm of trying to squeeze the best MPG.

I'm wondering how you order it... I don't see an "individual" option for any 3 series on the BMW USA web site.
