Question about JB Stage 1

Hey guys, just received my Stage 1 for my N20 yesterday. Only issue is the actual module looks like the JB4 (Stage 2) box and not the small Stage 1 module... Hoping someone can verify that it's just a box as I don't have the USB cable to verify the maps.

Also, wanted to give a

to N54tuning for getting it shipped so quickly (and for free!). Thanks guys!

Please upload a photo. We can't help you if we can't see it. The jb4 and stage 1 boxes are different sizes.

I'll get pictures tonight after work. To clarify, I am aware of the physical differences in appearance, which is why I'm asking. Physically what I received looks like the JB4 but I definitely didn't pay for a JB4 and I also didn't order an USB cable since I didn't think I'd need it for a Stage 1.

Sounds like you got lucky! Haha upload pics to clarify, but if that's the case just get the cable and call it a day.

Alright, so had some time today. Here's the pics... I'm thinking it's a Stage 1 inside a JB4 box. Hopefully someone from N54Tuning can verify this.

Did you install it yet? I just don't want to be running a JB4 without even knowing it... and without a USB I can't even check or change maps.

That's a JB4 box. I don't ever remember Terry making stage 1s in those boxes. Email him directly for support.

I read on another post that BMS ran out of the stage 1 boxes and were using the JB4 boxes until their supply chain catches up.

I installed the Stage 1 tune, then took it for a quick spin with some Highway sprints up to 130KM/h... WOW what a difference! At one point I had to back off because I didn't realize how quickly it would close in on the car in front (didn't leaven enough ******* LOL

Tomorrow's morning commute to work will be FUN!

Wow that crazy! Thanks @Mike for the clarification, had no idea stage 1s came in JB boxes now, man that could be confusing! Haha
