JB4 without downpipe

I currently have an ER catless downpipe paired with jb4 map 2. I was considering going back to the factory cat, how would this affect the jb4? Should I change maps or remove the tune altogether?

I believe you can just change the maps. Not everyone who has JB4 has the downpipe, so you should be fine.

Just use Map1 if you have an 328i or if you have an 320i use map 5

Use map 1 and you are set

Why are you removing the downpipes?

I want to be a bit more quiet and subtle, but every time I see an M3/M4 driving spiritedly, I just love how my exhaust note and upshifts sound exactly like theirs (ER catless + AWE exhaust). Hard decision but still contemplating...

You wouldn't happen to have a video of the exhaust and downpipe would you? I have the AWE exhaust with the mid pipe and have been curious how it would sound with a catless downpipe.

Not with a JB4, I won't
I pass people with ease with just progressive, mild throttle
